Who I Help
You are a self-aware, empathetic individual who often carries the weight of others—whether as a caregiver, student, parent, or community advocate. Perhaps you’re managing the intersection of work, family, and personal responsibilities, all while navigating the complexities of neurodivergence, intergenerational trauma, or the impacts of colonialism. You are resilient and capable, but beneath the surface, there may be feelings of exhaustion, disconnection, or burnout.
You may have already explored self-care practices, mindfulness, or therapy, yet something still feels unresolved. Despite your awareness, connecting with your own needs can feel unfamiliar or secondary to the needs of those around you. Whether you're noticing physical signs of stress like tension, fatigue, or difficulty sleeping or feeling emotionally distant, the weight of “holding it all together” may feel heavier than ever.
Perhaps there’s guilt in wanting more for yourself—more time, more peace, or simply more balance—because you’ve grown accustomed to prioritizing others. If you find yourself longing for deeper connection, ease, and a sense of belonging within your own life, I’m here to help. Together, we will slow things down, reconnect with the body, and create space for healing that feels nourishing and aligned with your unique experience.
How I Help
My goal is to help you reconnect with yourself, listen to your body, and create lasting change rooted in self-compassion. Whether you are navigating colonial or intergenerational trauma, the weight of caregiving, neurodivergent traits, or burnout, I provide a safe and supportive space to process and heal.
I take a holistic, mind-body approach that blends trauma-informed care, somatic therapy, and mindfulness practices. This allows us to explore the emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of your experience. Together, we’ll identify patterns that keep you stuck, process difficult emotions, and gently shift the ways you engage with your inner world.
Healing is not about “fixing” but about reconnecting with the wisdom and resilience you already carry from your family, community, and ancestors. Using a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive approach, our sessions will honour both your strengths and your need for rest—helping you rediscover balance, joy, and authenticity.
Through this process, I hope to help you feel more grounded, embodied, and connected with your inner voice. We will walk through the discomfort together, but also explore what brings you lightness, fulfillment, and connection in your life.
Therapies I use in my work:
Person-Centred Therapy
Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
Somatic and Mind-Body Approaches
Trauma-Informed Yoga and Breathwork
Decolonial, Culturally Responsive Approaches
A Little About Me
Inspiration
As a registered psychologist, yoga and pilates instructor, and someone who continues to navigate personal mental wellness, I integrate both academic knowledge and lived experience into my practice. I am continually learning from Indigenous scholars, somatic practitioners, and clients who generously share their stories. My work is guided by decolonial principles and a desire to support community healing, one relationship at a time.
Therapeutic Approach
I approach therapy as a shared space, one that welcomes vulnerability, curiosity, and connection. My style is calm, supportive, and light-hearted. I listen deeply but also engage actively, offering guidance and reflections that align with your goals. I believe in creating a space where you feel at ease, where we can explore challenges, and celebrate moments of growth.
